I apologize, I have a very cheap digital camera, I'm hoping by christmas I'll have enough saved up to get a new one, but its like 200 bucks for a nice one so we shall see. These pictures don't do it justice, but in any event, we have a place called Clay Cafe here in Nova Scotia. I was talking to my husband about a picture I saw of a girl who got an Abarat tattoo, and how I'd love for him to draw me a tatt when ever I get enough courage to get one (needles make me nervous). I had my new Abarat book with me, but I had shown him the picture in book 2 of the instrument player in the palace. He asked for my book and copied art from book 3 as well as his own interpretation of the image I had shown him from book 2, and may me birthday mug. I treasure this thing! Unfortunately, my crappy 99 dollar digital camera washes out the colors. Blurry but you can see the colors: Sharp view to see detail, but washed out colors: Bad flash but was only way to get it to show at all:
