Finally! Harper Collins have put an effort into Clive's book! Thats a change. Hope now there doing this there will be more advertising for the book. But, I still think the other trailer is a lot better. Anyone disagree?

The other trailer gave us much more important information about the new book. I waited seven years to find it out. And in my opinion the first trailer was better prepared. It is true that in this trailer we have pictures from the book but it is hard to see what they exactly show. What's more I do not like Mater Motley's voice.

About the Motley remark, we all had different ideas on what her voice would be like. I have to admit that I was shocked when I heard her voice. But, I am still glad that harper have put some effort into it. I just now hope that it will be an advert. The trailer has made me even more excited for the new book. Have any of you bought the e-book version of abarat, where you get the first two chapters of absolute midnight? I think its great.

Mater Motley sounds like a creaky door! LOL. Still an awesome quote, and super excited to see a second preview!
As I was watching it I got the feeling of a Japanese horror film? Anyone else? hahah

Hello Abarat fans! Vol is correct, I have read chapter 1 and 2 of Absolute Midnight that are contained in the £0.99 kindle ebook version of Abarat volume 1. It contains no illustrations at all but the chapters are very good, particularly chapter 2. Even if they were illustrated, in my opinion ebooks are no substitute for the real thing. Let's face it, the Abarat hardcovers are lovely sumptuous books and beautiful collectable items besides the fact that they are Wonderfull stories!! I am still hoping that UK booksellers will soon update their data bases to provide up to date ordering information and product details for the UK edition. HarperCollins UK are NOT even showing the cover art on their web site yet!! And the book description they provide as of today still relates to book 2!!! On a positive note, I do like the new Abarat 3 trailer. Let's hope its used a lot to get the word out that its almost Absolute Midnight time!!!
