I would like to make a small discussion of Christopher Carrions long lost father.
We don’t know so much about his father except from the few interviews of Clive Barker and Christopher Carrions himself (from dead man house.)
This is what we know:
1. His name is Zephario Carrion
2. “He`s going to be one the most powerful figures in the book.”
3. He has a big temper. According to Carrion he set the Smyrion tree that caused his daughter death on fire.
4. There are a possibly sketch of him in “Beneath the Surface”, wearing a small hat and a Hawaii T-shirt.
Clive B himself has said that he`s going to have a big part of book three but what kind of character appearance are we going to be expected of him?
There is a thought in my head that perhaps there will be a family reunion between and Carrion, but I have doubt that this reunion will not what Carrion thought it would be.
If the sketch (In Beneath the surface.) is Zephario Carrion, I believe he have totally lost his mind in the book. The one Carrion will meet are going to be a whole different person from what he imaged and from he was thirty-forty years ago.
Think! This man was the most dangerous and ill-tempered man in Gorgossium, had a big family and perhaps he loved them in his sort of way. Losing them may have taken his whole sanity and left him in a state of chock and lunacy.
When Carrion meets him, he is going to see a happy lunatic who likes the sun, drinking a lot Pina-Colagas and searching for food in trash cans.
Oh dear… what a vision!
But well this is my theory... what do you think?
