Plot lines most looking forward too

What plot lines are you most looking forward to seeing in the next book? What predictions have you made with those plot lines?

I haven't made many predictions of what's to come, but I'm looking forward to see the Requiax, I want to know what they look like, though I'm not sure they'll be in the next book (that would mean the end of Abarat, right?). I'd like to know what happened to Letheo (where'd he go?). I'm also looking forward to the darker atmosphere in Absolute Midnight. And I want to keep exploring the islands, all of them! ^_^

Some of these might be considered spoilers. I wish I knew the way to hide them, but instead of that I tried to word them vaugely. Some of these may not ever be covered in the books, actually.

- Finnegan confronts the final dragon
- The takeover of Chickentown
- Rojo Pixler's search for the Requiax (I'm looking forward to seeing more of Pixler in Absolute Midnight)
- The Johns meet their counterparts (the reason only the two sets of them seem to exist, which I've theorized on before)
- Letheo
- Carrion's Father
- Who exactly are Abraham Hollow and the Fujit Brothers?
- How about seeing some other Geshrats? They must have a home island.
- Leeman Vol and the Sacbrood

I want more Prince Quiffin! Where is he? Did he die? Is he ruling the daytime islands and just hasn't been mentioned yet? Candy never asked anyone, so I guess we wont know until either it's needed as part of the plot, or Candy starts asking questions.
So far Candy has only really had positive experiences of the Abarat, mostly because of the people she had met. I want her to start questioning her very black and white view of good and evil. Because if she doesn't, I think she's going to really struggle to accept and cope with what will be thrown at her next.
Can't wait!!

Like RedStockings, I'm wondering about Prince Quiffin, too. I'm also wondering about all the "missing" characters. Carrion's father, for another example.

I also really hope Clive goes into the aftermath of what's happened in Chickentown. I'll be disappointed if he doesn't address the fact that the people (including the government, I assume) would be wondering what the heck just happened in the middle of Minnesota. This isn't necessarily a plot line, I suppose, but I think it's important for him to address.

I hope the sacbrood aren't forgotten, because they were TERRIFYING. As was Leeman Vol. That hideous, horrible man needs some of the spotlight because he has potential for being an incredible villain.

And RedStockings, Clive's all about questioning good and bad, so I don't think you'll have to worry about that! I'm sure Candy will get a taste of the darker side of Abarat and of humanity.

Initially, I disliked Finnegan and Boa and that whole past story line, but then I started playing this guy on twitter..and I don't know...now I don't dislike him really. He grew on me I guess, not his personality per say, but something grew on me. I would like to see if his character really is just pigheaded Mr. Macho or if he really is a good guy to Boa or something.

But most of me really wants to see what happened to Letheo...

And, of course, all the new strange things CB thinks up. I'm looking forward to the pictures--but I suppose that doesn't pertain because that isn't a plotline.

I'm curious to see where the Candy/Boa thing is going to go. Part of me is certain it's going to lead to difficulties somewhere. Also curious to see what Finnegan popping up is going to do.

Yeah, I'd been wondering about that. What happened to Letheo.
