Sorry if this was mentioned before, I couldnt seem to find it here.
So I was trying to remember where, I dont know if it was itunes or just a clip somewhere, but there was an audio clip Abarat 2, and the man narrating said the name Gorgossium, and it made me stop and think "huh??" I'd never heard it said the way he said it, so I was curious how you all pronounce it.
Gore-gohss-ium? or Gore-goes-ium? or maybe some way completely different.
I personally have always said it the first way, how about you?

the pronounciations you've given are very similiar, but if I had to choose, I think I pronunce it the second way, but that's just me.

I've always said:
Gore- goss - ium
like... the middle part rhyming with "floss". I'm probably horribly wrong though.

I say it like "Gore-gos-sium" so the middle sounds like "Go" with an s at the end of it.
haha pronounciating words/names in books that don't really exist except in one particular things is always weird because you don't know what it sounds like
