First: I'm writing a fanfic called Melancholia. (See thread title.) So far, I only have a little bit, but I've got it basically planned out and most of ch 1 is done. Second: What do you call the little insert they put in the front of books? It's a chunk from the end, just a few sentences. You read it, then start at the beginning, read to that point, then to the very end. My brain's fried... Anyway, here's the link. www.fanfiction.net/s/5507298/1/MelancholiaHopefully more soon.

Accidentally posted it twice. I'll have to fix that eventually.

isn't it an excerpt, the little thingy at the end put in the beginning? I read it and it sounds really good, keep updating

Eh, it happens to the best of us fanfic-writers. I have two fics that are currently "In hiatus" though I really don't know if I'll ever get around to updating them again...And the one I am updating I haven't updated in a few months (that's just how I write fanfics, though).
