I'm going to apologize in advance for this post. >_<
A long time ago, like before the second book was even out, there was some rumor that we were going to see more about the Johns' personal lives, and that they had a wife. I really doubt that this is actually going to happen, but it had me thinking...
(WARNING: this post is "naughty" so I suppose if the idea of the Johns having a sexual relationship makes you physically ill you should avoid reading this, although I would really appreciate everyone's mature opinions on this)
If there was a wife, do you think that the brothers would consider her to be a wife to ALL of them? Or would they consider her John Mischief's wife? And if their relationship was sexual in any way... how would this work? Do you think the Johns would say they all had slept with her, and do you think that they would all be involved in the act? And what if this wife got pregnant? Do you think that they would each think of the child as theirs collectively, or would the child be Mischief's and the other Johns just the uncles?
I know that there are real life cases of joined twins having separate wives/husbands and families; they generally say the other twin just zones out and pays attention to something else... but I think this is a bit different because it's EIGHT of them as opposed to two, they're all loud and outspoken, and I can't imagine them being so passive. In fact, I think Mischief himself is the most passive of the brothers.

That sucks for the RL twins. This is an interesting question. I also remember that being mentioned. Barker could have created a race like the Mischief's, but then the question becomes: How do all eight of them match up exactly to another eight. Physically, John is the only one who could actually sleep with her. The others could say, but they really couldn't have. Therefore, I think John would be the actual father and the others would be just uncles. Perhaps John married a regular person and just gags the rest when he hangs out with her? Haha!

What if one of the brothers can't stand the woman? It would really spoil every romantic evening. Especially if Mischief is saying something like, "I really love you..." and a brother is shouting, "Get outta here golddigger!" I'm sure they'd all have to be in agreeement It seems in the book that although the brothers might complain, they all accept that Mischief is in charge. They can't do anything about it. Would the woman count all the brothers as a part of Mischief, or as seperate people? It'd be horrible to be stared at by loads of tiny faces if they didnt zone out. lol, v weird discussion.
