Oh yeah! I just remembered, My brother had a dream last night. It had me rolling on the floor at the image, and I had to share it. Clive Barker is having a business meeting with Carrion, Boa, and Finnegan. Carrion is dressed college student/surfer, Boa is wearing a business suit, and Finnegan is wearing a tight black dress. (Yeah, I know. Ew.) The quartet is seated in floating chairs around a table balanced on the Eiffel Tower. Finnegan says something stupid and Boa kicks his chair, sending him careening off the side. He straightens out and slides down the side like a surfer. At the bottom, he lands safely, waving up to his worried business partners far overhead. He flashes a grin, struts off the sidewalk onto the street-and gets hit by a hot dog vender. That's the end of him. Yeah, hilarious. Especially if you have an good imagination and go into detail at the end.

I had one last night. All the islands of the Abarat were connected by highways because they discovered cars. My parents and I went on vacation there and while we were driving from one island to another, the sunset fused with the night sky. It was really pretty, so I tried taking a picture of it on my cellphone. But my parents stopped me saying, "Well, we're goning to live here, so you'll see this everyday." ----and then I woke up. So close, and yet so far. T_T
(I love reading all your dreams! XD)

Just had another dream last night. It was about me playing a video game that let me control Abarat's main characters. That was fun. X3

You. Had. A. Dream. About. Living. In. The. Abarat.
I envy you SO FREAKING MUCH.
The only dream I've had that even approaches that in awesomeness was the one where my best friend/love interest [for the dream] was a light elemental-type-thing... And we were being chased by some dude and his friend an anti-light elemental... Which was a pretty awesome dream, but still... Abarat is far awesomer. I have never yet been gifted with an Abarat dream...
One of my friends had a dream about telekinetic mushrooms with shotguns, though.

I just had a recent one about abarat. I climbed up in a tree, that was either had eyeballs on it or surrounding it. I also remember that Carrion was chasing me, so that's why I climbed into the tree. I think I then climbed down and gave him a hug (not 100% about that though) Unfotunetly I don't remember any more, which sucks!

Okay, I had another insane one. the first part of the dream was awesome. CC came to get me, strangely he smelt likedisinfectant (kinda) then we talked for a while under the starlight and then we huugged(obbsession much). Then things started to get weird.Lets just say that Carrion got dressed in drag and then went down a water slide. Quite insane I know, it was the best (and worst) Abarat dream I have ever had

That sounds totally insane! Love the waterslide part lol. ;D I dreamt once that I had an appointment with CC in his tower, only I had to get past the receptionist and she didnt believe me. She wouldn't give me the key to get in the lift. Darn that woman!!!

WFG, have you seen Rocky Horror? Because your dream sure seemed like it, with the drag and water slide. If you haven't then perhaps it is a sign.

Lets just say that Carrion got dressed in drag and then went down a water slide. OH MY GOD THE MENTAL IMAGE. KILL IT! KILL IT DEAD! Oh god my eyeessss... CANNOT UNSEE! ~~Totally unrelated to the Abarat, I've had a couple of interesting dreams lately that I shall relate. #1. A future world. The government controls everything. Water and food are strictly regulated. Anyone who speaks against the government gets their food and water taken away. There's also a severe human-superiority complex going around; animals are still allowed to consume resources, but "only because we allow them to." There are no wild animals. (T.T I know. Horrible.) I was protesting this--the dream must have only spanned a day or two dreamtime, because I didn't lose my food and water. I don't remember much besides this, but I remember horses were involved somehow. I think I was protesting how the horses were being treated. #2. Also a future world, run by a massive corporation not unlike Commexo. Anyone with promising technical skills is whisked away to isolated educational facilities, often without any warning--they simply disappear. Anyone who doesn't work directly for the corporation is dirt poor, and a massive portion of the population is homeless. There are gangs of homeless children (of which I was one). I had a friend (male) who had said technical talent; however, being homeless, he didn't get kidnapped by the corporation. Basically the dream consisted of us trying to survive and avoid the teams who were sent out frequently to "clear the streets" of homeless people, and that didn't mean giving us a bed and a meal. Eventually we ran into this one other dude--I remember him as being fat, though he was homeless; I think he'd been one of the Corporation cronies who lost his position, although he seemed to know quite a bit about being homeless for that. It's a dream, it doesn't need to make sense, I guess. Anyway, we wound up behind this kitchen-type building, all red brick with chimneys coming out the top and no windows--just a wood door like you'd see on a house, painted white. The fat guy (he kind of reminded me of Kuwabara 6-dan from Hikaru no Go) said something about having "had a chainsaw in his eye" the last time he went in there, although he didn't look particularly mutilated--and then I noticed that he original friend was gone. Naturally, I was concerned, and I had a really bad feeling that he'd gone into the smokestack building, which I suddenly knew was one of the places where they took "cleared" homeless. Then I heard chainsaw noises, and then he came stumbling out of the building, looking virtually unharmed. I asked him if he was okay, and he said yes, but he was hiding his right arm, and when I saw it, the hand and fingers were all loose and flopping, clearly unusable--I think they'd cut the tendons, although the arm itself looked fine. Then I started crying, because he couldn't do technical stuff anymore, and that ability had been his only real hope of surviving to adulthood (never mind myself) and because he looked kind of traumatized. Then I woke up.

Yes mental image must be KILT! anyway- your dreams seem pretty graphic- were you watching/reading something about politics before you went to bed? (or maybe chainsaws?) Or both?

So, I had ANOTHER dream that the third book came out. There was no release date announced or anything, just one day I went into Borders and it was on the shelf and I was like WTF AHHH so I bought it. The cover was purple, and had the typical sort of checkerboard of little paintings, but rising from the center were the 13 towers of Gorgossium. It didn't look any fatter than the other books, but I didn't care because I was just so happy to see it. I tried to read it in class but I was too busy and didnt get the chance. I want this book worse than ever now! *edit* 500 posts! wow!
