It seems like we're running out of steam with this discussion thing, but I'm determined to keep going!

Next chapter, "The Universal Eye" begins next Wednesday, May 20th

"The Division of Hours" is my favorite poem in the whole book, I think. I had a fanfic I was writing about it, but it's sort of dumb and I'd never post it.

Just wanted to say that Candy handles things a lot better than I do. Flies, yeah, flies I can deal with. But if something like this bug showed up, I'd be shrieking bloody murder and would have grabbed the kids and hauled butt out of there. The Abarat books would be sooo much more interesting with me as the main character, IMHO

Also, I guess Izarith learned a thing or two about inviting total strangers into her house and leaving them alone with her children.
