Ok, I expect everyone has played this game at some point in their lives, but it's my fave so I thought we should play it on here too. I was going to post a regular version of this, but through it’d be better Abarat style! ;D
How to play: 1) Put your music player on shuffle 2) Where the gaps are, answer with the name of the song and the band/singer. If you want you can post a little of the song, like the chorus. Or a link. 3) Write a commentary on how appropriate/inappropriate the song is, (if you want to.) Rules: 4) No Skipping!! 5) Have Fun!
Christopher Carrion sings this in the shower………….
…………….. was Boa and Finnegan’s wedding march
This is Candy Quackenbush’s theme tune………
………………… Is Mater Motley’s philosophy on life
The John Brothers love this song …………
Letheo hears this, and turns into a beast ……………
…………………… Played at Bill Quackenbush’s funeral.
The abaratians believe ……………… is the national anthem of the Hereafter.
Mendelson Shape lost his foot moshing to this song ……………
To live in Commexo City, you must know the lyrics to …………….
Kaspar Wolfswinkle secretly wrote this song …………..
Every Glyph plays this song as it flies ……………
Otto Houlihan stared in a musical of his life, his solo was ……………
Princess Boa believes ……………. Is about her.
Prince Quiffin danced to ………… at his 21st birthday bash!

Ok. so here are my answers... Go on, load up itunes, you know you want to! Christopher Carrion sings this in the shower “ It’s Only Us” by Robbie Williams“ Toxic” by Britney Spears was Boa and Finnegan’s wedding march (haha) “ Handle Me” by Robyn is Candy Quackenbush’s theme tune. (Hmm, not sure who she’d be thinking about though… Carrion? Pixlar? Finnegan? www.youtube.com/watch?v=x4UHNhVSrEM)“ I’m a b**** I’m a lover” by Alanis Morissette is Mater Motley’s philosophy on life. (HAHA, funny. She’s certainly one of the above.) The John Brothers love this song “ It’s my life,” by No Doubt. Letheo hears this, and turns into a beast “ Dinner Lady Arms” by The Darkness. (“ I might not have quite as much hair, but what you saw in me will hopefully always be there…” lol) “ The Way I Am,” by Eminem, will be played at Bill Quackenbush’s funeral. (“I a whatever you say I am,” an idiot??) The Abaratians believe “ Lapdance” by NERD is the national anthem of the Hereafter. (It’d sure be a lot more fun!) Mendelson Shape lost his foot moshing to this song “ Got a Right to Be Wrong” by Joss Stone. (This one is just too much…) To live in Commexo City, you must know the lyrics to “ Missing” by Everything but the Girl. (Wow, what a tune. Pyon must be a depressing place… www.youtube.com/watch?v=K9Z7AiXRxrg)Kaspar Wolfswinkle secretly wrote this song “ Mama” by My Chemical Romance. (Well, it makes sense.) Every Glyph plays this song as it flies “ I want to Break Free” by Queen. (Oh I really really really hope that they do!!) Otto Houlihan stared in a musical of his life, his solo was “ Rock DJ” by Robbie Williams. (ew) Princess Boa believes “ We gotta get out of this Place” by Eric Burton and the Animals Is about her. Prince Quiffin danced to, “ Money Honey” by Lady Gaga, at his 21st birthday bash! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5bijlo-JHRc)

I have so many embarrassing songs on my iPod, this is bound to turn out bad... Also... The Darkness rocks!!! Christopher Carrion sings this in the shower... Get Busy by Sean Paul (I really don't think he'd be caught dead singing this song... "Woman get busy, just shake that booty nonstop! When the beat drops just keep swinging it!") Perfect Situation by Weezer was Boa and Finnegan’s wedding march (Um... "Get your hands off the girl, can't you see that she belongs to me? And I don't appreciate this excess company. Though I can't satisfy all the needs she has and so she starts to wander... can you blame her?") This is Candy Quackenbush’s theme tune... Two Beds and a Coffee Machine by Savage Garden (I guess this COULD apply to her mom?? I don't know... "And she takes another step, slowly she opens the door, check that he is sleeping. Pick up all the broken glass and furniture on the floor. Been up half the night screaming, now its time to get away. Pack up the kids in the car. Another bruise to try and hide, another alibi to write...") Zero to Hero from Disney's Hercules Is Mater Motley’s philosophy on life (LOL! I doubt it!! "Bless my soul! Herc was on a role! Person of the week in every Greek opinion poll! What a pro, Herc could stop the show! Point him at a monster and you're talkin' SRO!") The John Brothers love this song That's Not My Name by The Ting Tings (HAHAHA!!! Maybe they secretly do? "Four letter words just to get me along. It's a difficulty and I'm biting on my tongue and I keep stalling, keeping it together. People around gotta find something to say now... Holding back, every day the same, don't wana be a loner. Listen to me, oh no! I never say anything at all, but with nothing to consider they forget my name... name... name... name..." It's a total chick song!) Letheo hears this, and turns into a beast Boys Will Be Boys by Panic! At the Disco (Panic! At the Disco is one of my many guilty pleasures... maybe for him, too? "Well she's not bleeding on the ballroom floor, just for the attention. Cause that's just ridiculously on. Well, she sure is going to get it. Here's the setting, fashion magazines line the walls now, the walls line the bullet holes...") Bye Bye Bye by NSYNC Played at Bill Quackenbush’s funeral. (Hahaha! The title is appropriate, but not really the song... "I'm doing this tonight, you're probably gona start a fight. I know this can't be right, hey baby come on... I loved you endlessly when you weren't there for me, so now it's time to leave and make it alone..." The abaratians believe Won't Go Home Without You by Maroon 5 is the national anthem of the Hereafter. (Doesn't really make sense... "I asked her to stay, but she wouldn't listen. She left before I had a chance to say the words that would mend the things that were broken. But now it's far too late, she's gone away." I guess it could be Hereafter singing to Candy ahahaha like... please come back! I don't know...) Mendelson Shape lost his foot moshing to this song Yeah by Usher (Not really a song to mosh to... but I love this song "I left the Jag and I took the Rolls. If they ain't cuttin' then I poot 'em on foot patrol... oh, ah... how you like me now? When my pinky's valued over three hundred thousand!") To live in Commexo City, you must know the lyrics to Television, Television by OkGo (Looooove OkGo! I guess this fits, "It's always right. The perfect light in the dark of night. Give up the world, give up your life, cause you cannot fight the television!" Referring to Commexo Kid on TV I guess... the rest of the song doesn't fit entirely but still... they're all... tv obsessed I suppose) Kaspar Wolfswinkle secretly wrote this song Out of My Heart by BBMak (Eww..... "As the sun goes down wakin' up my dreams, and in my mind you're with me once again... Outta my heart, into your head... And inside my heart there's a place for you, and in my mind I'm with you once again...Outta my heart, into your head..." No. No. No.) Every Glyph plays this song as it flies Remember Me As a Time of Day by Explosions in the Sky (This is a pretty song with no lyrics... I looooove Explosions in the Sky and Remember Me As a Time of Day is my favorite song probably. I can see this fit quite well actually.) Otto Houlihan stared in a musical of his life, his solo was Technologic by Daft Punk (This is the weirdest image EVER. You'll need to hear this song to understand why...) Princess Boa believes Flames by VAST Is about her. ("When I am with you, there's no reason to pretend that when I am with you, I feel flames again"... Flames is like the GREATEST song... it's so chilling and beautiful... Maybe she's narcissistic enough to think it's about her? hahaha) Prince Quiffin danced to Survivalism by Nine Inch Nails at his 21st birthday bash! (I can see this! Survivalism is suuuuch a fun song! "I got my propaganda! I got my revisionism! I got my violence in hi-def ultra-realism! All a part of this great nation! I got my fist! I got my plan! I got survivalism!")

I love these!! Christopher Carrion sings Antonio Vivaldi's Sonata No.3 in A Minor, Largo in the shower. I imagine he'd hum it, I know I do! It would echo quite nicely among the towers, too. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z-DnTxbIgpYShiver by Coldplay was Boa and Finnegan’s wedding march. Coldplay is too good for them D< Beethoven's Sixth Symphony in F, Allegro ma non Troppo is Candy Quackenbush’s theme tune. Umm...... ? I guess it could represent the new frontier and life she's experiencing? www.youtube.com/watch?v=-GWMApWKQIYAt the Bank from the score of The Bourne Identity is Mater Motley’s philosophy on life. I guess it's suspicious and dark and chilly and lost? www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Tsc2yDEoTYThe John Brothers love Carl Orff's O Fortuna. Umm... WTF? www.youtube.com/watch?v=5STsFV6wu6wLetheo hears Yellow by Coldplay, and turns into a beast. Letheo, Angsty Flavor? The Unforgiven from Final Fantasy VI played at Bill Quackenbush’s funeral. If the scene when this played was not so emotional, I would be laughing. www.youtube.com/watch?v=d8cO7hSls_kThe Abaratians believe Savages, Part One from Pocahontas is the national anthem of the Hereafter. Now, now I am laughing. A lot. www.youtube.com/watch?v=2av9SQsMIi8Mendelson Shape lost his foot moshing to Rumeurs from Cirque Du Soiliel's Mystere. ......... it's a pretty and inspirational song >_> To live in Commexo City, you must know the lyrics to Vivire by Andrea Bocelli. xDD www.youtube.com/watch?v=88M4KOkwWyAKaspar Wolfswinkle secretly wrote Kesenai Tsumi by Nana Kitade from Fullmetal Alchemist. Um, no. www.youtube.com/watch?v=8bb9ReUFzDIEvery Glyph plays The Scientist by Coldplay as it flies. If the spirit can fly, it may do so for this song. Otto Houlihan stared in a musical of his life, his solo was Life is a Highway by Rascal Flatts. Haha, seeing as he was a traveling assassin. Princess Boa believes Toki no Uta by Aoi Teshima is about her. If she truly is nice and sweet, then she would be correct. I couldn't find a real video though. Prince Quiffin danced to Naussicaa of the Valley of the Wind Opening by Joe Hisashi at his 21st birthday bash! Maybe interpretive dancing? *dances like a hippie* The hardest part about this was finding songs that had words >_>

It probably won't be very fun to read mine, I haven't met many people who like the type of music I like. I skipped it if it was an obscure song from a soundtrack, because for the most part they're not really songs. Half of them ended up being Nightwish songs... :/ they're my favorite band. I've added some lyrics, see if you can connect to the person <3 Christopher Carrion sings this in the shower: For the Heart I Once Had, by Nightwish ( this actually makes sense, hehe. Some lyrics exerpts: For the heart I`ll never have For the child forever gone
Faded and torn, old and forlorn My weak and hoping heart) Sacrament of Wilderness by Nightwish was Boa and Finnegan’s wedding march ( Not sure what this is even about. Lyrics: www.songmeanings.net/songs/view/37945/) This is Candy Quackenbush’s theme tune: Affections Touching Across Time, from the Inuyasha soundtrack ( This doesn't have words) Half Life by Lacuna Coil Is Mater Motley’s philosophy on life ( Written in not-so-good English by Italians, haha. A bit of lyrics: wonderful to say that you' ll never know when the world is going to fall and that is all I know we' re incomplete despite of the new millennium) The John Brothers love this song: Devil & the Deep Dark Ocean, by Nightwish ( this song actually reminds me of Abarat. Maybe I'll make a post later about connecting songs to Abarat? There are a few I have in mind.) Letheo hears this, and turns into a beast: Fly With the Black Swan, by Sonata Arctica ( Some lyrics: Once I got caught in an avalanche, I must have died, When a Black Swan flew to the rescue and cried An offer I could not refuse, now I'm working on the other side) Replica, by Sonata Arctica: Played at Bill Quackenbush’s funeral. ( Song is actually about war vets not being themselves after coming home. Lyrics: Nothing's what it seems to be, I'm a replica, I'm a replica Empty shell inside of me, I'm not myself, I'm a replica of me... Are you gonna leave me now, when it is all over Are you gonna leave me, is my world now over... ) The abaratians believe Facade of Reality, by Epica, is the national anthem of the Hereafter. ( not much to say about this) Mendelson Shape lost his foot moshing to this song: The Pharaoh Sails to Orion, by Nightwish ( Pretty intense song) To live in Commexo City, you must know the lyrics to: Where Were You Last Night, by Nightwish ( OH GOD I HATE THIS SONG) Kaspar Wolfswinkle secretly wrote this song: Mutter, by Rammstein ( Song is in German, and about clones...) Every Glyph plays this song as it flies: Feint, by Epica ( sad song) Otto Houlihan stared in a musical of his life, his solo was: Final Destination, by Within Temptation ( Some lyrics: All around me I see danger And it's closing in on me Every second I can hear it Breathing) Princess Boa believes I Want Out, by Helloween, Is about her. ( lol? I WANT OUT! TO LIVE MY LIFE ALONE! I WANT OUT! LEAVE ME BE! I WANT OUT!) Prince Quiffin danced to She Is My Sin by Nightwish at his 21st birthday bash! ( Ehhh)

The John Brothers love this song "Brass Monkey" by The Beastie Boys (I could see this, actually!! www.youtube.com/watch?v=YXZ3yUZTlrA)Letheo hears this, and turns into a beast "Watch the World Burn" from The Dark Knight soundtrack. (Well, it is dark and creepy. www.youtube.com/watch?v=VyQHBEOaXCU&feature=related)"Any Colour You Like" by Pink Floyd played at Bill Quackenbush’s funeral. The abaratians believe "Spice Up Your Life" by The Spice Girls is the national anthem of the Hereafter. (Ahahahaha!!!) Mendelson Shape lost his foot moshing to this song "Heroes From Our Past" by Dropkick Murphys. (Awesome!! www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GfllMPjyTE)To live in Commexo City, you must know the lyrics to "Girl All the Bad Guys Want" by Bowling for Soup.Kaspar Wolfswinkle secretly wrote this song "It Doesn't Matter" by Depeche Mode. (yep. www.youtube.com/watch?v=0uD17tNip1s)Quietly he laughs and shaking his head Creeps closer now Closer to the foot of the bed And softer than shadow and quicker than flies His arms are around me and his tongue in my eyes "Be still be calm be quiet now my precious boy Don't struggle like that or I will only love you more" But it's much too late to get away or turn on the light The spiderman is having you for dinner tonightPrince Quiffin danced to "For Boston" by The Dropkick Murphys at his 21st birthday bash!

Prepare to be scared. You've been warned! ;D
Christopher Carrion sings this in the shower…Push It by Salt n’ Pepa. (Ah, push it - push it good. Ah, push it - push it real good. Ah, push it - push it good. Ah, push it - p-push it real good.) Ahaha…yeah, we all know that’s never going to happen. XD
Red Soup from The Last Unicorn Soundtrack was Boa and Finnegan’s wedding march. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KhN3zgfJMRw) That song is too good for them. >_<
This is Candy Quackenbush’s theme tune…Game Over by N’SYNC. (You played yourself, but did you think that you could really find love from someone else? You're making moves, you're gonna lose. You played yourself, and now you're thinkin' you can get one by me, but you'll never win. Try again, 'cause the game is over.) Umm, let’s see. This applies for when she always rejects poor Carrion.
Geraldine by Glasvegas is Mater Motley’s philosophy on life. (I will turn your tide. Do all that I can to heal you inside. I'll be the angel on your shoulder. My name is Geraldine, I'm your social worker.) My songs just don’t match people from Abarat very well, now do they?
The John Brothers love this song… St. Matthew Passion “O HaumptVoll Blut Und Wunden” by Bach. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=475pqwwbZ1w) I can see Mischief liking this.
Letheo hears this, and turns into a beast…Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again by Andrew Lloyd Webber. (Wishing you were somehow here again. Wishing you were somehow near. Sometimes it seemed if I just dreamed, somehow you would be here.)Hmn, sad about Candy leaving?
Crash by Gwen Stefani is played at Bill Quackenbush’s funeral. (Drive back baby to me, fast in your car. I'm here waiting, crash into me real hard.)OMG…no. Just no.
The Abaratians believe My Friends from the Sweeny Todd Soundtrack is the national anthem of the Hereafter. (Rest now, my friends. Soon, I'll unfold you. Soon you'll know splendors you never have dreamed all your days, my lucky friends. 'Til now your shine was merely silver. Friends, you shall drip rubies, you'll soon drip precious rubies.) That makes Abarat slightly creepier. Fine with me. X3
Mendelson Shape lost his foot moshing to this song… The Point of No Return by Andrew Lloyd Webber. (Past the point of no return, the final threshold. The bridge is crossed, so stand and watch it burn. We've passed the point of no return.) Perhaps when he stalks Candy up the lighthouse…
To live in Commexo City, you must know the lyrics to Bailamos by Enrique Iglesias. (Bailamos! Let the rhythm take you over, bailamos. Te quiero amor mio. Bailamos! Wanna live this night forever, bailamos. Te quiero amor mio, te quiero.) Happy, happy, happy!
Kaspar Wolfswinkle secretly wrote this song…Wild Wild West by Escape Club. (She's so mean but I don't care. I love her eyes and her wild wild hair.Dance to the beat that we love best. Heading for the nineties. Living in the wild wild west.) T_T, just killed the song.
Every Glyph plays this song as it flies Disco Inferno by 50 Cent. (Lil' mama show me how you move it, Go ahead put ya back into it, do ya thang like there aint nothin to it. Shake.. shake.. shake that a** girl.) Driving in style.
Otto Houlihan stared in a musical of his life, his solo was Ocean Ave. by Yellow Card. (If I could find you now things would get better, we could leave this town, and run forever. Let your waves crash down on me and take me away, yeah.) Oh, Houlihan, I never knew!
Princess Boa believes Behind the Sun by The Good, the Bad, and the Queen is about her. (Into the dawn of another way of looking at the people we've become. To a place where we played when we were young on the cool breeze behind the sun.)I guess, unfortunately, this one is the only song that fits.
Prince Quiffin danced to Ion by Apocalyptica at his 21st birthday bash! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nSdQgVQZwG8) Hopefully, he’s into cellos.
Oh gosh, I'm sorry, Abarat! XD

weirdness on this one...
Christopher Carrion sings this in the shower "hey baby"by no doubt ( that is so wrong!)
"In my place" by coldplay was Boa and Finnegan’s wedding march. (thats sorta weird)
This is Candy Quackenbush’s theme tune "yellow" by coldplay(that could almost fit)
"shadow of the day" by linkin park Is Mater Motley’s philosophy on life(no, that is just weird)
The John Brothers love this song "you drive me crazy" by britney spears- that is super strange
Letheo hears this, and turns into a beast "I'm a slave 4 u" b britney spears (too funny)
"U started it" by gwen stefani Played at Bill Quackenbush’s funeral. (well, it makes sense)
The abaratians believe "my prerogative" by britney spears is the national anthem of the Hereafter. (soo weird)
Mendelson Shape lost his foot moshing to this song "disturbia' by rihanna (makes perfect sense)
To live in Commexo City, you must know the lyrics to "I want you" by kelly clarkson(what a strange city)
Kaspar Wolfswinkle secretly wrote this song "42" by coldplay( there is no way!)
Every Glyph plays this song as it flies "My life would suck without you" by kelly clarkson (true, the glyph wouldn't exsist otherwise)
Otto Houlihan stared in a musical of his life, his solo was "leave out all the rest" by linkin park
Princess Boa believes "do somethin" by britney spears Is about her. (sorta)
Prince Quiffin danced to "don't let me stop you" by kelly clarkson at his 21st birthday bash!
