Do you think you would have wanted to go with Mischief? Or would you have waited? As much as I think I would have been brave enough to go, I'm not entirely sure. The idea of following two monsters into a sea that hadn't been there before is tremendously frightening. I can see why Candy would have done it, though. She has nothing holding her down to Chickentown.

Oh, that's a hard one. Knowing myself, I would have jumped. I have lots of things that I love in this world that ties me to it, but in the end of the day I want to be able to live. And if I would have walked away in a moment like that, the thought of it would have tormented me until the day I died. I wouldn't have been able to resist.
But I also know that in Abarat I would have made it my first priority to find a way to let my family and friends know that I was ok.
Aaaaah, now I really want such a thing to happen..! XD

That's very, very true. If I was in the situation and never jumped and Mischief never came back, I would have been haunted by my decision for the rest of my life. I guess it depends on how much you trust Mischief. If I KNEW he was going to come back, I might have stayed just to take care of personal matters first and gone with him when he came back...

That's a good solution! Hmmm... now that think of it, I definitely would have jumped. Not because I trusted Mischief all that much, but because of Shape. He.. just didn't seem like a person who would let you walk away, you know? XD Gentleman Monster in the front vs Scary Monster right behind you. Oh yeah, I would've jumped.
(Unless it was Carrion, then I would have turned, then jumped. </fangirl moment>)

Hmm... now that I think about it... what was Mischief thinking, asking her to go home? I highly doubt Shape would have just let her walk away. He may not be a very clever man, but he's certainly no idiot.
