And I'm glad to see another Alan Rickman fan :3 worldfantasygirl - Those shoes are AMAZING. Also... I should have put nerds as my favorite label Just my two cents.

Favorite book:* d**n, too many to count. xD I read too much! D: Fragment by Warren Fahy is definitely up there, along with the Swarm by I can't remember who. Also the Abhorsen books by Garth Nix, the Darkangel trilogy by Meredith Anne Pierce (set on the freakin' moon, no less), the first few Foundations by Asimov, Anne McCaffrey's Pern books (though not the AIVAS arc, AIVAS arc is teh suck), Cory Doctorow... Favorite movie: It's a tie between Avatar and Miyazaki's Spirited Away. (Epic contrast, lol...) I also like Life of Birds, Blue Planet, and Planet Earth, and yes, I watch documentaries for entertainment. Favorite TV show: Hikaru no Go. (Actually, the manga's way better, and DO NOT WATCH THE ENGLISH DUB. THE VOICES SUCK.) Hm, so probably Monty Python's Flying Circus. Favorite website: I dun have one. Favorite author:* ... I don't kno~www.... D: Favorite fictional character: Hmm, Favorite band/singer: KAITO, the Vocaloid. ...What? Real person? Um, okay... Younha. I don't listen to that much live music... English-- Weird Al Yankovich or Frank Zappa. Beatles top forever for my favorite band, though. :3 Also Pink Floyd, because they're amazing. Queen's pretty good, but Beatles and Pink Floyd are just over-the-top awesome. Onna stick. Favorite ice cream flavor: Black Raspberry. With nonpareilles on. Favorite color: ...All of them? Favorite picture: None in particular... Favorite fanfic: Something by Silver Pard, probably "Redivivus". Or maybe one of her fairy tale fics... Yeah. "Hall of Mirrors", for definite, or "Big Bad". Favorite artist: I don't know. On DeviantArt it's probably SilentReaper. I don't know much about art, so... Favorite animal: Bi~rdy! Favorite symbol: Favorite song: Favorite magazine: National Geographic FTW! Or Living Bird. Favorite country: China, because he's one of my favorite Hetalia characters. xD Really? I don't know. For countries I wouldn't want to get wiped off the map, I'd have to put USA at the top, because I just happen to live there (by accident of birth). No matter how stupid we seem to get over har, I don't want to de by association... China has a really nice history, but lately they've been doing some unsavory business over thar, so I don't know. I hear it's really beautiful, though... Australia has epic birds. New Zealand has epic birds also (WE CAN HAS FLIGHTLESSNESS LOL). Brazil has the rainforest, but they're screwing it. Africa also has rainforest, but they're screwing it too (Africa is a continent, I'm not a stupidfoxAmerican.) Favorite actor/actress: ...I don't know, probably a voice actor. Favorite profession: Biology~ Favorite possession: Mah birdies! :3 I luffles my parakeets... Favorite time of day: Bluedark or sunrise. They come at different times of day depending on season... (Bluedark is just after sunset, when the sky is dark neon blue. No, that's not an oxymoron.) Favorite drink: Water. Yeah, I'm boring. Favorite sport: Well, I run XC, planning on starting fencing when I hit high school this year, ride... Probably riding's my favorite, because I are animal lover. :3 And it's epic fun. Favorite craft: Lolwut? 0.o I have no idea how to answer this one. Favorite flavor: Of what? 0.o Favorite article of clothing: My glasses. Because you know those eye charts at the doctor's office? Without them, I can't even see the chart, let alone read it. You say glasses aren't clothing? Um... My clothes. Because I wear them. Yeah. (What is this thing called fa-shion? I do not understand this hu-man fa-shion.) Favorite place: Fifty feet up in the air in a tree. Favorite season: I like spring, but I have horrible allergies. I like summer. I like fall, but allergies again. Don't like winter unless there's snow. So I guess summer's my favorite. Favorite plant: All of them. ;D Favorite emoticon: :italian: from Magistream.com Favorite fairy tale: The original Beauty and the Beast, with a polar bear. Or East of the Sun, West of the Moon. I like most of the originals, actually, not the fluffy Disney-fied sterilized safe-for-the-children crap. Favorite label: I HAVE NO LABEL. I am self and self is not labellable. "Social retard" is pretty good, though. ADDED: Favorite board game: GO FOREVER! (Go is also known as Igo, Weiqi, and Baduk, in Japan, China, and Korea respectively. Most everywhere else calls it Go.) Favorite Webcomic: I have a few... XKCD's pretty good, I like Slightly d**ned, and No Need For Bushido is good, too. Slightly d**ned's probably my favorite, though, if only for the universe. Slightly d**ned <- A link. Read it. Now. Areas marked with a * are excluding the obvious Abarat.

Favorite book: The Perks of Being a Wallflower Favorite movie:Edward Scissorhands (I actually liked Howl's over Spirited. Mononoke was also good) Favorite TV show: Lost, Xena. I don't really watch many TV shows Favorite website: Facebook, Post secret Favorite author: hmm....I dunno? Favorite fictional character: Chris C., Ziggy Stardust, The Joker, Jack Skellington, Gir Favorite band/singer: The Dresden Dolls/Amanda Palmer. I'd marry her. Favorite ice cream flavor: Ben and Jerry's Cherry Garcia Favorite color: purple Favorite picture(upload it if you want): I don't really have one! Favorite fanfic: I don't really have one, and I haven't read fanfic in forever anyway. Favorite artist: Favorite animal: rabbit, fox, otter, wolf, hedgehog Favorite symbol: Favorite song: hmm...too many. Favorite magazine: N/A Favorite country: The USA, since I haven't been anywhere else! XD Favorite actor/actress: Johnny Depp...then It's Cillian Murphy and Robert Downey Jr Favorite profession: technical theatre Favorite possession: my Gerber pocket tool, currently. Wow, all of this totally makes me look like a theatre geek. Favorite time of day: the weekend Favorite drink: tea, Dr. Pepper for soda. Favorite sport: soccer, but I just like to watch it Favorite craft: technical theatre design? Favorite flavor: chocolate? Favorite article of clothing: currently, a tie-dye pull-over that used to be my dad's, or my completely black chuck's, or my plaid slip on Vans. I love comfy shoes. Favorite place: Lookout Mountain, my school's theatre Favorite season: spring Favorite plant: lavender Favorite emoticon: or Favorite fairy tale: Howl's Moving Castle? Is that a fairy tail? The book, not the movie, although Calcifer was cute in it. Favorite label(goth, prep, jock, etc.): bad-ass ninja thingyroach, because I used it in a definition essay to describe technicians. But I don't go for labels normally. I wear hippie, punk, guy stuff, steampunk, band, birthday suit , geek, what ever I like, and that's a lot.

Kaito - I'm rereading the Darkangel Trilogy right now. I couldn't find it in stores because it's out of print so I had to buy it on ebay. Those books are great!!!!
Usagi - Howl's Moving Castle is brilliant too. I have this one friend who told me not to see it because it sucked, but I saw it anyway and I was like WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? And I think it counts as a fairy tale, personally, because it totally has that swept-away fantasy feel to it.
Sorry for commenting on everyone's favorites. DX

Abaratian, you really made me jealous. I'd probably faint or something if I ever had a chance to meet Voltaire. And also, great to see I'm not the only one who loves The Phantom of the Opera. (I actually wrote a 4-page essay to my mother tongue teacher about it, when we had to write an essay of a book that tells about history or native cultures.)

If you live anywhere in the US, you should try to come to Dragon*con. It's in Atlanta, GA over labor day weekend. It's a huge convention with everything you can imagine... sci-fi, fantasy, anime, movies, tv shows, books, art, music... it's 100 bucks for a membership for the entire weekend, which is totally worth it because it's like a massive 96 hour long costume party and there's a massive parade through the streets of Atlanta (seeing a few hundred Storm Troopers marching down Peachtree Street followed by the Mach 5, Batmobile, and an army of super heroes is always amazing in a very nerdy way). There were like 40,000 people who went last year. It's not quite like other conventions because it goes on all night long and has special shows like Rocky Horror and concerts and whatnot... my point is that Voltaire goes every year. He has a booth there and you can basically hang out with him all weekend. He also does a couple concerts there. My friend has been to parties at Dragon*con where he was there and she's been able to really hang out and talk to him. At Dragon*con last year, the same friend went to a party with Tom Felton (the guy who plays Draco in Harry Potter movies). I really regret not going to that party

Favorite book: I don’t have a favourite book, but I do have certain books that I read over and over again. These are the Harry Potter books, everything by Jane Austin, His Dark Materials, The Tudor series by Philippa Gregory and of course Abarat!! Favorite movie: Memoirs of a Geisha, that movie is just stunning. Favorite TV show: Favorite website: I'd like to thank internurse.com for giving me journals to make my essays awesome, Facebook for keeping me up to date with what's going on, Deviant art for all the fanart, Fanfiction for the hours and hours of free entertainment and ebay, for having everything I need! Favorite author: Favorite fictional character: Christopher Carrion of course! Favorite band/singer: I’m a fickle fan, but these ‘bands’ never leave my ipod: The Prodigy, Rolling Stones, T Rex, Madonna, Beyonce. Favorite ice cream flavor: The greatest ice cream I ever had was in Rome, but then the Italians are famous for ice cream. My favourite flavour was pistachio nut. The again a 99 with the flake is always good. Favorite color: I like pink things, but don’t wear the colour, my skin is too pale. Favorite picture(upload it if you want): My fave pictures are from the days before digital cameras so I can't upload it. Favorite fanfic: Of Angels of Demons by Dark Raion, a Final Fantasy 8 fanfic (An oldie but an awesome one.) Favorite artist: Favorite animal: Cats Favorite symbol: Favorite song: “Get it on,” by T Rex. Favorite magazine: Star Magazine, glossy rubbish about ‘celebrities’. I like knowing what they are up to. Plus I like all the fashion pages. Favorite country: Singapore Favorite actor/actress: Favorite profession: Being a Clothes designer would be cool Favorite possession: My Ipod Favorite time of day: Tea time, I’m always hungry! Favorite drink: Pepsi Max Favorite sport: Hockey Favorite craft: Painting Favorite flavor: Chocolate Favorite article of clothing: My skinny jeans and ‘Mary Poppins’ boots Favorite place: At my friend's house, with all my uni buddies having lunch and complaining about all the work we have to do. Favorite season: Winter when it’s super cold. Favorite plant: Roses Favorite emoticon: The super grinning face ;D Favorite fairy tale: Beauty and the Beast Favorite label(goth, prep, jock, etc.): I dress like a 'rock' granny apparently, pearls and floral cardies, so not sure what label that is. lol.

Neh, Howl's Moving Castle isn't a fairy tale...
I didn't like it just because it didn't quite fit with the book. A little more... I'ono, 'cutesy' than the books was.
Oops, I just realized I forgot to do a couple!
Favorite fictional character: Fujiwara-no-Sai, from Hikaru no Go, because he is genuinely awesome, and I want him for my Go teacher. (I'd have to learn Japanese first, though--I don't think a Heian-period Japanese would speak English. T.T) Favorite symbol: Peace sign! Favorite song: I have no clue. If it's English, it's something by the Beatles, no question.
