Hi everybody! I'm a big fan from Sweden, I'm leaning heavily towards the Christopher Carrion-part of the fandom (although Malingo is the sweetest thing ever<3) and, well... that's all, I suppose. Although not really, just for now.
I'm glad to be here. <3

Hi, I'm Laurie, from the Midwest US. I found this place through the Chickentown community on LiveJournal. I'm a huge Clive Barker fan, and I've loved Abarat since my friend lent me the first book in high school. It's nice to find a place with some other Abarat fans.

Hi! I'm Gaz (yes, named after the Invader Zim character). And I'm thrilled to find this forum! I very much adore these books, like everyone else here. As soon as that 3rd book finally comes out I'm running to the bookstore faster than ever before!
I'm a college student in the midwest studying elementary education. Time to go make some posts!

Hello everyone, I'm Thomas from Alberta Canada. First read Abarat when I was 13, 5 years ago, and got completely addicted. I read the first one over and over until the second came out, and read that one like crazy too. Now I eagerly wait for the third. Clive Barker is a great writer, I am quite familiar with his other books especially Weaveworld. The art in Abarat is so inspiring. His paintings really make Abarat such a beautiful and fascinating world. It's nice to meet you all and I am looking forward to the discussions and the RP.

Hello peoples! I'm Rawk, hailing from the US midwest. I'm really bad at these introduction things so, uh, I dunno, XD
If there's anything you really want to know about me you can ask I guess, >.<
Like I said I'm bad at these intro things, sorry!

Hiya everyone! I'm Lexie, and I reside in Colorado. It's currently 4am (insomnia is a strange thing) and I joined this after seeing a link on Redstocking's dA account and after a midnight epiphany to get back into this fandom a few days ago.
I first read Abarat when I was 12, four years ago I guess, and have been hooked since. I met Clive a few years ago and he gave me and signed copies of both of the books. I am looking forward to the RPing part of this community, and am also trying to do a blog from CC's point of view that I started a few years ago but never posted on.
My favorite characters are Christopher and Letheo, and my favorite pairing is CC/C, with CC/L in second place. And with that, I will leave, since I write way too much! Ta ta!

Hi, I'm Caity. I'm from Minnesota. I haven't found any old lighthouses yet, but I'm still looking. I found the first Abarat book in the school library around Christmas '08, and I haven't put it down since. It's probably really over due... Oops. I just wanted to find someone who was as obsessed with Abarat as I am. My family thinks I'm nuts, an my fiends now ignore every sentence that starts with Abarat. Lol. It's a hobby, not an obsession. I swear. I could give it up anytime, I just don't want to. Anyhoo, that's about all I want to say on an all-access internet site. Thanks for listening to my hyper ramblings. You were listening, right? There's a test later... Oh yeah. *ahem*Carrion rules!

Oh yeah. Malingo's really sweet, and C/C and C/M are good. So cute...

It took me ages to work out what pairing C/M was. It's Candy/Malingo right? I first throught it was Carrion/Malingo... that'd be weird. But i'd still read it! lol.
