I think that Jimothy would probs be the better dancer out of the two, but that's no fun right? I'm choosing Letheo, just because he's rocking the shirt-less look in the book, and for the swoon factor!! No fair, now I must go wipe the drool away!

Redstockings, it's your question.

You've been thrown into the Abarat and need to make a living somehow! Your choices are:
Forming a rock band with with your mum and a rejected but (still very evil) stitchling.
or
Create a fashion label with Otto Houlihan and fighting him for creative control. (Btw his ideas are a little freaky).
What would you rather do? ;D

Ack. That's a disturbing mental picture. I'd have to say creating a fashion label, because I couldn't be in a band (I'm too shy). I don't know fashion that well either, but I'd rather do that than make a fool of myself in front of hundreds of people.

I'd love to make a band, but not ever with my mum. So I would have to say Otto. I can take him on, so it'd be interesting. Good reality tv probably.

I would start a band, just because I like music and my mom can sing pretty well, also the thought of designing clothes with otto would just be too weird. my question: would you rather go trick or treating with christopher carrion or would you rather go christmas shopping with rojo pixler (personally I would go trick or treating with carrion because the people giving out candy would run away in fright and I could take all the candy - mwhahaha )

Christmas shopping with Rojo Pixler!! He's got to be like the richest guy in all of Abarat, and I'm sure that, in exchange for my knowledge of the Hereafter, he'd be willing to buy me lots and lots of presents ^_^
(I'm sooooo greedy)
BTW - welcome to The Midnight Hour! I love to see new faces!

I want to go trick or treating with Carrion, that'd be so much fun. I wonder if he'd wear a costume? Plus I dont think he'd eat the sweets, so they'd be all mine!

Caity, it's your question. I would like to go t/t with Carrion, but Abaratian does bring up a good point. However, I don't think I would enjoy his company enough to stick around, even if I could get everything. Carrion would kick ass at Trick or Treating. He would scare all the little kids and the adults would be like, "Nice...costume??" I'd love it. We'd have a blast. And we'd steal all the candy for ourselves. *snicker* Wow, I am thinking about this one too much. Good question, and welcome to the MH!!

K, I'll post another one in just a bit.

Okay: Would you rather watch a horror movie in the theater sitting between Boa and Finnegan, or watch a romance movie while sitting between Carrion and Mater Motley? (The credit for this one goes to my brother. He gave me the whole idea of Abarat characters watching movies. We were laughing for half an hour over it. )

I think I might go to the horror movie with Boa and Finnegan. Boa probs wouldnt last that long anyway, and Finnegan would have to take her home. As cool as it'd be to go to the cinema with Carrion, I dont want to be anywhere near the granny. She has to smell bad.... that rotting flesh dress, ew. I dont reckon she washes either....

My thoughts are about the same as redstockings's. While I'd normally be completely against going anywhere with Finnegan (I dislike him quite a lot, in case you didn't know lol), I'd think it would be funny watching a horror movie with the pair of them. Plus, if Mater Motley sewed her grandson's lips together just for saying the word "love", I can't imagine how she'd react to watching a whole movie about that subject. She'd probably kill everyone in the entire theater. No fun Plus, I love horror movies. So I pick that one.

Horror. My response echoes Red's and Abaratian's. It would be hilarious to watch Boa scream her head off. Although Finnegan would probably be all over me trying to get to her and comfort her.
Next question: Would you rather go to a bingo game with Deaux-Deaux or Malingo??

I've always thought Deaux-Deaux seems like such a blast, and I imagine playing bingo with him would be a heck of a lot of fun!

Lol, bingo. Bingo with Malingo? Jeez, we're tacky.

I'll go with Deaux-Deaux, I bet he's good at bingo, since he's a gambler. Plus, I'm sure he'd run up a good tab at the bar too....

You are now Christopher Carrion’s defence lawyer, would you rather:
Put in a plea for insanity, in the hope he’ll be allowed to live a quiet life somewhere, under your supervision. But if he reverts to his old ways, you're in trouble.
Or
Try to fight a case and avoid a death sentence. But if you lose, Carrion says he’s going to take you down with him.

Lol, I would kidnap him and have him flown to a tiny remote island outside the archipelago where no one would ever find him, quit my job, and follow him there, being a total fangirl until he either killed me out of annoyance, committed suicide, left, or realized that he's been delusional all along and stays with me. Please forgive my fangirl delusions. Returning to reality, I'd have to say an insanity plea, 'cause then I could do basically the same thing. It'd be entirely one-sided though.
